Drop in an MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG file up to 15 minutes long. You do not need an account to start.
AI transcribes the vocals and times every word to the beat. Then a row of templates opens on the video, each one playing your own lyrics.
Change the font, the text animation and the background, from 53 animated backgrounds to your own photo or clip. Play the whole song in your browser.
Downloading the video needs a paid plan. You only pay once you have seen the finished result.
Searching for a lyric video maker with no watermark usually means one thing. You want to see your video clean before you decide anything. In Capify the preview has no logo across it, so what you watch is what the export looks like.
Full exports on a paid plan have no watermark either. The only watermarked file Capify makes is a draft, a 720p test render that paid plans can run a few times per project without spending a credit. Capify does not offer a free download, watermarked or not.
The transcription is free and needs no account. Capify listens to the vocal, writes out the lyrics and gives every word a start and end time, so karaoke highlights and word-by-word animations land on the syllable. See how it works on lyrics from audio.
After the lyrics come in, the templates open on the video itself, and each one plays your own words. Swipe through, keep one, and change anything after. Browse the styles on lyric video templates.
Pick from 53 animated backgrounds with a music response slider, upload your own photo or video, or search the stock library. Add one of 17 styles from the audio visualizer under the words.
Most of them started the way this page does, with a free preview of one song. Capify is the AI lyric video maker independent artists and labels use for release day.
Build and preview for free first. Pick a plan when the video is ready to export.
Making and previewing a lyric video is free. You can upload a song, get the lyrics transcribed and timed, try templates and backgrounds, and watch the whole video back. Downloading the finished video needs a paid plan.
No. Every download, including a draft, needs a paid plan. We would rather say that here than have you find out after an hour of editing. The preview is free and shows exactly what the export will look like.
The preview in your browser has no watermark. Full exports on a paid plan have no watermark either. The one place a watermark appears is a draft export, a 720p test render that paid plans can make without using a credit.
No. You can upload a song, get the lyrics and preview the video without an account. Sign up for free to keep your project, use Song Assistant and save your own templates.
Everything about the look: templates, fonts, text animation, colours, backgrounds, the visualizer and the frame size. In the lyric editor you can fix the words and timing of the first 5 lines. A paid plan opens every line.
Yes. Capify runs in your browser on a laptop or phone. There is nothing to install, and the transcription runs on our servers.
Capify is tuned for sung vocals rather than speech, and it times each word to the vocal. It can still mishear a line in a dense mix or an ad-lib. Those you fix in the lyric editor, or paste your own lyrics in on a paid plan so the AI follows them.
Downloads of the full video in 1080p, editing of every lyric line, pasting in your own lyrics, and more Song Assistant messages. Creator Pro adds 4K exports and your own uploaded fonts. Each full export uses one credit from your plan.
Yes. Switch the frame to 9:16 for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, or keep 16:9 for YouTube. Both preview for free.
Yes. Upload a photo or a video clip, search the stock library, or pick one of the 53 animated backgrounds. The animated ones can pulse with your song.
Up to 15 minutes, on every plan. Files can be MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG.
